New development in the Bora Kaplan case!
In the case concerning 11 defendants accused of negligence in the escape of Serdar Sertçelik, a defendant and secret witness in the Bora Kaplan case, the prosecutor indicated that the Criminal Court of First Instance lacked jurisdiction and submitted an opinion stating that the case should be heard in a high criminal court.
Following the escape of Serdar Sertçelik, who was a defendant and secret witness in the Bora Kaplan case, a lawsuit was filed against 11 people, including 6 police officers, who were alleged to have been negligent.
In the case in question, the 13th Criminal Court of First Instance had previously issued a decision of lack of jurisdiction for the file.
PROSECUTOR REQUESTS HIGH CRIMINAL COURT
According to 12punto columnist and journalist Müyesser Yıldız, the prosecutor submitted an opinion at the latest hearing, drawing attention to the nature of the case and the severity of the charges, stating that the file should be heard in a high criminal court.
