New test sample taken from Tan Taşçı in Istanbul as part of drug investigation
In the investigation conducted by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a new sample was taken from Tan Taşçı in Istanbul after the initial sample was found to be insufficient.
A new development has occurred regarding singer Tan Taşçı as part of a drug investigation targeting celebrities. Taşçı, who was previously detained in the Bodrum district of Muğla and released after providing biological samples following his statement, has had a new test sample taken.
In the investigation conducted by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was determined that the initial sample taken was insufficient for analysis. For this reason, it was learned that Taşçı provided a new sample in Istanbul.
It was stated that the decision to repeat the test was made because the hair length in the first sample was not suitable for obtaining a sufficient specimen. The new sample is expected to be sent for laboratory analysis.
Tan Taşçı was among the individuals for whom a detention warrant was issued during operations carried out at the end of May. As part of the same investigation, proceedings were initiated against numerous artists and public figures, and biological samples taken from the suspects were sent for examination.
While the judicial process regarding the investigation continues, the laboratory results of the samples are expected to be decisive in the course of the case.
