In Karabük, police teams conducted an operation targeting the crimes of mediating prostitution and providing a place for prostitution following a tip-off.
As part of the work carried out by the Karabük Police Department's Morality Bureau teams, 5 suspects, including 2 women, were detained. The suspects, whose procedures at the police station were completed, were referred to the courthouse.
4 of the suspects were arrested by the court they were brought before and sent to prison. It was reported that the judicial process regarding one suspect is ongoing.
It was learned that the person alleged to have run the prostitution organization in the operation is 72 years old. Judicial proceedings regarding the investigation are continuing.
