A 17-year-old identified as A.E. has been arrested as part of an investigation into the shooting of 15-year-old Nurmuhammet Musaoğlu, who was sitting at the cash register of a cleaning supply store in the Seyhan district of Adana.
The incident occurred on October 19 at approximately 17:30 in the Dağlıoğlu neighborhood. According to allegations, A.E., one of two individuals who arrived at the workplace on a motorcycle, opened fire with a handgun at Musaoğlu, who was at the register. The child, who was critically wounded in the head, was taken to the hospital by car by bystanders.

It was reported that Musaoğlu, who was admitted to the intensive care unit at Adana City Training and Research Hospital, remains in critical condition.

SUSPECT CAPTURED AT HIDEAWAY
Teams from the Homicide Bureau identified the suspect by reviewing security camera footage from the area. Determining that A.E. was preparing to flee to Mersin, police apprehended the suspect at an address on Turhan Cemal Beriker Boulevard in the Seyhan district during operations along the escape route.
The investigation suggests the attack was linked to a debt owed by Musaoğlu's older brother, Ümit Musaoğlu. It is alleged that A.E. was directed by an individual named A.A., who had a debt-related dispute.

After being processed at the police station, A.E. was referred to the courthouse and subsequently arrested by the court. Police are continuing their efforts to apprehend the motorcycle driver who is said to have taken the suspect to the scene and assisted in his escape.
