Four defendants, including two minors involved in the crime, were sentenced to various prison terms.
According to the court's decision, 14-year-old T.Y.Z., who was involved in the incident, was sentenced to a total of 25 years in prison, while 17-year-old B.S.Z. was sentenced to 32 years.
Additionally, the father, Cemal Zeynal, and Ahmet Emir Zeynal, who were also tried in the case, were sentenced to life imprisonment plus an additional 28 years each.
WHAT HAPPENED?
The incident took place on August 10 in Keçiören. An argument between Hakan Çakır's mother and sister and two other individuals escalated into a fight. In the ensuing altercation, which involved relatives of the parties, Hakan Çakır was stabbed and lost his life.
Following the incident, Cemal Zeynal and his children Ahmet Emir Zeynal, B.S.Z., and T.Y.Z. were arrested and sent to prison. The verdict announced by the court marks the final stage of the long-running trial.
