The testimony of Osman Aksu, who was heard as a witness in the investigation into the suspicious death of former MİT official Kaşif Kozinoğlu, who passed away in Silivri Prison, has come to the fore.
Aksu made claims regarding a meeting he had in 2004 with Osman Sınav, the producer and original director of the TV series Kurtlar Vadisi.
While it was stated that the Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu series was also being examined within the scope of the investigation, it was alleged that Aksu explained in his statement that Sınav had been pressured due to the format of the series.
He recounted the 2004 meeting
According to his statement reflected in Habertürk, Aksu said the incident took place in July or August of 2004. Aksu stated that he went to an association in Avcılar at that time to visit his friend Tahsin Sefa, and that Osman Sınav also came to the association during the meeting.
According to Aksu's account, the association president, Tahsin Sefa, noticed that Sınav was low-spirited and asked if he had any problems. It was stated that although Sefa wanted to speak with Sınav privately, Aksu was not allowed to leave the room.
Aksu alleged that during this meeting, Sınav told him that he had been threatened by Enver Altaylı. According to the witness statement, pressure was put on Sınav to hand over the series and leave the project, or to change the format of the series.
New statements are expected regarding the evaluation of the allegations in the investigation by official authorities and the course of the file.
