According to CNN, officials announced that the winner of the "Mega Millions" lottery, which awarded the fifth-largest jackpot in US history, has been found.
The winning numbers for the draw, which had been rolling over for approximately 4 months and was won by a lucky person from New Jersey, were 7, 11, 22, 29, 38, and 4.
1 PERSON WON 2 MILLION DOLLARS
13 ticket holders from different parts of the country matched the first 5 numbers drawn, winning at least 1 million dollars each. In New York, one person also won 2 million dollars.
The jackpot winner will receive the full 1.13 billion dollars if they accept the prize in annual payments, or 537.5 million dollars if they choose a lump-sum payment.
The "Mega Millions" lottery, which is played in 45 US states, the capital Washington, and the Virgin Islands, was last won by an individual on December 8, 2023.
