16-year-old pianist Can Saraç has won the Michelangeli Prize at the Piano Academy Eppan competition in Italy.
Young pianist Can Saraç took first place by winning the Michelangeli Prize at the Piano Academy Eppan competition held in Italy this Saturday. The 16-year-old talent, a student at the Istanbul University State Conservatory, thanked his teachers and family in a statement on his social media account, adding that they would continue to celebrate achievements during the 100th anniversary of the Republic.
The young pianist stated the following: "I had a promise to my country, the teachers who raised me, my family, and my listeners, and I won! :) I took first place by winning the Michelangeli Prize at the Piano Academy Eppan competition held in Italy this Saturday! Let us continue to celebrate the 100th anniversary of our Republic with our achievements."
