17-year-old İpek Bilecen missing for 19 days
17-year-old İpek Bilecen, who reportedly ran away from the Sevgi Evleri site where she was staying in the 19 Mayıs district of Samsun, has not been heard from for 19 days.
İpek Bilecen (17), who was staying at the Sevgi Evleri site in the 19 Mayıs district under the Samsun Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of Family and Social Services, allegedly escaped by jumping over the fence on January 15.
Following this, institution officials reported the situation to the police.
POLICE LAUNCHED AN INVESTIGATION
Upon the report, police teams launched an investigation to locate Bilecen.
It was stated that İpek Bilecen's mother, L.U., remarried after divorcing her father, E.B. It was also learned that E.B. is currently in prison. It was reported that the search efforts for İpek Bilecen are ongoing.
'I WILL FILE A CRIMINAL COMPLAINT WITH THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE'
İsa Bilecen, the uncle of 17-year-old İpek Bilecen, said, "They called me from the police station in the 19 Mayıs district and informed me of the situation. They asked, 'Your niece İpek Bilecen is missing, do you have any information about where she might go?' I am searching everywhere. I am trying to reach my niece. I am worried about the girl's health and her life. I will file a complaint against the relevant institution and her mother. I will file a criminal complaint with the prosecutor's office."
