17-year-old Melek B., who lived in the Akyazı district of Sakarya, was found with a gunshot wound to the head. Melek B. lost her life at the hospital to which she was taken.

In the incident that occurred on 7134th Street in the İnönü neighborhood, the young woman was found wounded by her family.

Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams that reached the address provided initial intervention before transporting Melek B. to the hospital in critical condition.

Melek B., who was transferred from Akyazı State Hospital to the Sakarya Training and Research Hospital, could not be saved despite all interventions.

The teams, which have launched an investigation into the matter, are focusing on the possibility of suicide.
