93-year-old media billionaire Rupert Murdoch marries for the 5th time

Australian-born American media mogul Rupert Murdoch has married for the 5th time. The 93-year-old Murdoch wed Russian-born scientist Elena Zhukova.

The Sun newspaper published photos from the couple's wedding ceremony. The couple, who have been together for a few months, were married in California.

HOW DID THEY MEET?

Retired molecular biologist Zhukova is 67 years old.

It is reported that Murdoch and Zhukova met at a family gathering hosted by the media mogul's ex-wife, Wendi Deng. Murdoch and Deng were married for 14 years and decided to separate in 2013.

THE END OF AN ERA

Last year, Murdoch stepped down from his role at News Corporation, which includes famous TV channels such as Fox and Sky News.
