A confession from Settar Tanrıöğen, the former 'Apo' of 'Kızılcık Şerbeti'

Settar Tanrıöğen, who suffered a brain hemorrhage last year and was forced to leave the series 'Kızılcık Şerbeti' as a result, has made significant statements regarding his health and career. On the program 'Aslı Şafak'la İşin Aslı', Tanrıöğen spoke sincerely about the process he went through and his financial situation.

Following the brain hemorrhage he suffered on January 26, 2024, Tanrıöğen underwent two surgeries and subsequently left the project, handing over his role in the series to Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan. After recovering and being discharged from the hospital in March, the actor returned to the screen shortly after in the series 'Kızıl Goncalar', though he only appeared in 8 episodes.

Speaking about his health, Tanrıöğen said, "I came back from the brink of death. Not many people survive a brain hemorrhage. Thankfully, I am doing well. I played in 8 episodes of 'Kızıl Goncalar' and experienced memory issues during that time. I am in a better state now." Tanrıöğen also noted that he does not go out without his nurse.

Addressing his financial situation, Tanrıöğen stated, "The money is almost running out. I hope a series project comes along by September or the end of the year. We will manage until then."

Describing this difficult period as a rebirth, Tanrıöğen remarked, "This too shall pass," indicating that he has put these experiences behind him.
