A painful day for Mahir Günşiray

Theater artist Mahir Günşiray, who has also appeared in many television series and films, has been shaken by the death of his wife.

Mahir Günşiray's painful loss was announced through a post on the Tiyatro Oyunevi social media page.

The following words were included in the post by Tiyatro Oyunevi:

"The stage design witch, the brain, and the veteran of our theater; the magnificent creative illustrator of children's books, a genius of photography and installation; the woman whom her husband Mahir Günşiray has slept holding every night for twenty-six years, his love, his mind, his life; the one and only, the pearl, the confidante, and the companion of her son Asya Birsel, the most precious piece of her heart; the beloved only daughter of Jean-Claude and Nuria Leon; the dear, wonderfully witty sister of Laure and Fabrice; the sweet aunt of Camille, Clemant, and Coline, and the lovely aunt of Lucille and Alban; the darling of the entire Leon family; the kind stepmother of Can Günşiray; the captain's wife of Baluna, its loyal and reliable anchor; the angel of the seas; -there are so many friends who love this unique and special woman so much, on land, at sea, in the air, in all three worlds-, the unforgettable presence of them all; Claude Leon Günşiray, the pinnacle of the ability to make herself invisible without ever saying 'I am here,' is no longer with us.

A very great void... An indescribable pain... The scent of her always warm body... Her soul, which knew how to love and taught us how to love, will always remain with us."
