American actor Jack Hogan, known for his roles in projects such as 'Dr. Christian', 'Combat!', 'The Rough Riders', and 'Bat Masterson', has passed away at the age of 94.
Jack Hogan, the actor remembered for his role in the World War II-themed series 'Combat!', has passed away.
It was announced that Hogan died of natural causes at his home on Bainbridge Island, Washington.
WHO IS JACK HOGAN?
Born on November 24, 1929, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Jack Hogan's birth name was Richard Roland Benson Jr.
He earned his pilot's license at the age of 16. After graduating, he joined the U.S. Air Force. During the Korean War, he served for 4 years as a staff sergeant in Japan.
He made his big-screen debut in 1956 after moving to Hollywood, appearing in 'Man from Del Rio' starring Anthony Quinn.
He appeared in numerous TV series and feature films throughout the 1950s and 1960s.
His TV series credits include "Dr. Christian", "The Rough Riders", "Sea Hunt", "Tombstone Territory", "Lock Up", "Bat Masterson", "Lawman", and "87th Precinct".
He also starred in films such as "The Bonnie Parker Story", "Paratroop Command", "The Legend of Tom Dooley", and "The Cat Burglar".
