Doctor issues ban for actor Kadir İnanır

After falling ill at his home on March 24 and being rushed to the hospital, it was determined that Kadir İnanır had suffered a blood clot in his brain. Treated by Prof. Dr. Uğur Türe, İnanır was transferred to another hospital for physical therapy after recovering.

According to a report by Mehmet Çalışkan from Habertürk, Kadir İnanır, who has been undergoing physical therapy for about a month, became quite angry recently when he had difficulty performing a movement.

BLOOD PRESSURE RETURNED TO NORMAL

When his blood pressure rose, the situation was reported to Prof. Dr. Uğur Türe. Türe requested that İnanır be brought to the hospital immediately. Kadir İnanır was transferred without delay to the first hospital where he had been treated, and his blood pressure was brought back to normal.

Kadir İnanır will remain in the hospital for a few more days for general check-ups. Afterward, his physical therapy will continue.

Prof. Dr. Uğur Türe gave Kadir İnanır a high-priority instruction, stating that he must avoid anything that would cause his blood pressure to rise, declaring, "Getting angry is forbidden."

WHO IS KADİR İNANIR?

Kadir İnanır was born on April 15, 1949, in the Fatsa district of Ordu. Kadir İnanır is the youngest child of his family. During his primary and secondary education in Fatsa, he showcased his stage talent in various school performances. After graduating from the boarding school Istanbul Haydarpaşa High School, İnanır completed his studies at the Marmara University Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio and Television.

In 1967, he reached the finals of the "Cinema Artist Competition" organized by Ses magazine, and in 1968, he won the "Photo-Novel Artist Competition" organized by the Saklambaç newspaper. After acting in photo-novels for a while, he began his cinema career with a small role in the film Yedi Adım Sonra (1968).

He shared the lead role with Türkân Şoray in his first starring film, the 1970 production Kara Gözlüm, directed by Atıf Yılmaz. He later became one of the male stars of Turkish cinema by making many more films with Şoray.

Over time, he turned toward more high-quality films. Among these are Utanç (1972), Selvi Boylum, Al Yazmalım (1977), and Bir Yudum Sevgi (1984), directed by Atıf Yılmaz; Ah Güzel İstanbul (1981), Kırık Bir Aşk Hikayesi (1981), and Amansız Yol (1985), directed by Ömer Kavur; Tomruk (1982), Sen Türkülerini Söyle (1986), and Katırcılar (1987), directed by Şerif Gören; Suçumuz İnsan Olmak (1986) and 72. Koğuş (1987), directed by Erdoğan Tokatlı; Dikenli Yol (1986), directed by Zeki Alasya; Yedi Uyuyanlar (1988), directed by Zafer Par; and Tatar Ramazan (1990) and Tatar Ramazan Sürgünde (1992), directed by Melih Gülgen.

Kadir İnanır, who was chosen as Best Actor at the 5th Golden Boll Film Festival for the film Utanç (1973), in which he shared the lead role with Filiz Akın, won the Best Actor award at the 1986 Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival for the 1985 film Yılanların Öcü, directed by Şerif Gören, in which he shared the lead roles with Fatma Girik, Serpil Çakmaklı, Nur Sürer, and Erdal Özyağcılar. Kadir İnanır also won the Best Actor award at the 3rd Ankara Film Festival in 1990 for the film Medcezir Manzaraları. In 1998, he presented the main news bulletin on Flash TV for 8 months.

The famous actor, who appeared in the 2000 Sinan Çetin film Komser Şekspir in recent Turkish cinema, reunited with Türkân Şoray after a 24-year hiatus in the 2003 film Gönderilmemiş Mektuplar. The duo, who were long considered a perfect match, garnered great interest with this film as well.

In 2005, he starred in the production Sinema Bir Mucizedir, directed by Memduh Ün and Tunç Başaran, sharing the lead role with Fatma Girik.

İnanır, who was also influential regarding the content of the films he acted in, generally portrayed honorable, self-sacrificing, and strong male characters. Having acted in a total of 182 feature films and 12 television series, İnanır's longest-running series was the production titled Marziye. Between 1995 and 1996, he hosted a news program called Böyle Gitmez, which aired on Kanal D.
