Actor Salih Güney's grandson has passed away
Can Işık, the 27-year-old grandson of Salih Güney, one of the unforgettable leading men of Yeşilçam, has lost his life. Can Işık had been receiving treatment for cancer for some time.
Can, the grandson of Salih Güney from the marriage of his daughter Ebru Işık—born of his union with Zeynep Tedü—and the famous businessman Uğur Işık, has passed away.
According to the report by Bülent Cankurt from Sabah, Can, who was first diagnosed with cancer at the age of 12, saw the disease recur some time ago.
Can Işık had been receiving treatment at a hospital in Los Angeles.
'COULD NOT DEFEAT THE DREADED DISEASE'
In his column, Cankurt wrote: "But unfortunately, this time he could not defeat this dreaded disease. Uğur and Ebru Işık will bring their son Can, from whose side they did not depart for a single moment during his treatment, to Istanbul to be laid to rest in the family cemetery."
