Vural Çelik has passed away. The news was announced by Birol Güven, General Director of Cinema at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, on his social media account. In his post, Güven stated, "Unfortunately, we have lost Vural. I am very sad."

WHO IS VURAL ÇELİK?
He was born in Ankara in 1973. He was originally from Ordu. After a friend told him that the Levent Kırca Theater was looking for actors through a newspaper advertisement, he applied in 1989 and was accepted. After the Levent Kırca Theater, he joined Yasemin Yalçın's theater. There, he served as an assistant to the artistic director, Selahattin Taşdöğen. Through Selahattin Taşdöğen, he met Necati Akpınar. He began learning event organization under Necati Akpınar. Later, he met Yılmaz Erdoğan and worked as a BKM actor.
Upon the recommendation of Ata Demirer, he joined the TV series Avrupa Yakası, where he portrayed the characters Kubilay Peynircioğlu and Gülenay Peynircioğlu. The last series he acted in was Seksenler. He played the character Niyazi in the series Seksenler.
