Veteran actress Anta Toros, one of the esteemed names of Turkish cinema, has passed away at the age of 77. The sad news was announced by the Film-San Foundation on its social media account.

SHE HAD APPEARED IN MANY PRODUCTIONS

The passing of Toros, who starred in many productions such as 'Adını Feriha Koydum', 'Çocuklar Duymasın', 'Acı Hayat', and 'Yarım Elma', has caused great sadness in the art community and among her fans, especially her family. It was known that the actress had been receiving treatment for stomach cancer for some time. Anta Toros's husband, Misak Toros, who was also an actor, passed away in 2010.

Film-San Foundation General Manager Kıvanç Terzioğlu stated in his post, "We wish God's mercy upon cinema and theater artist Anta Toros and extend our condolences to her family and loved ones."
