Actress Ayda Aksel's father has passed away

The father of Ayda Aksel, who most recently appeared before audiences in the series 'Aile' on Show TV, Mehmet Aksel, has passed away.

Aksel announced the news of his death on her Instagram account.

The actress wrote, "My father, my dear, the most elegant man in the world to whom I owe everything, I hope my mother, your great love, has welcomed you there, and that you have been reunited. Rest in peace, my dear ones."

WHO IS AYDA AKSEL?

Ayda Aksel (born October 31, 1962, in Istanbul) is a Turkish theater and film actress.

She studied in the Theater Department at Mimar Sinan University. During her primary school years, she studied in the ballet and cello departments of the conservatory. Ayda Aksel, who provided voice-overs for commercials, worked as a permanent staff member of the General Directorate of State Theaters for 15 years. Later, she worked at the Sadri Alışık Theater. She taught classes at 'Diyalog'.

Ayda Aksel has been married twice. She made her first marriage to civil engineer Halûk Semi Yüngül. They divorced in 1993. She made her second marriage to electrical technician Atilla Akıncıoğlu. Her husband, Atilla Bey, died in 2010. She has a daughter named Leyla from her first marriage and a son named Efe from her second marriage.
