Actress Damla Ersubaşı: 'I fell into drug use for a period'

Damla Ersubaşı, who became etched in memory for her role as Tuğçe in the series Sihirli Annem, which aired between 2003 and 2012, has confessed to using drugs for a period.

Ersubaşı made the statement, "I fell into drug use for a period. I squandered my husband's family's money on gambling. I took this money with various promises and I am currently paying it back. I gave up custody of the children and still couldn't get away from it. If these children are left without a mother, the reason is Mustafa Can Keser."

Damla Ersubaşı married business owner Mustafa Can Keser in 2016. The couple, who have two daughters named Zehra and Zeynep, divorced in 2020 in a tumultuous manner.
