Acun Ilıcalı visits President Erdoğan to discuss 'Premier League' journey
Hull City owner Acun Ilıcalı met with AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the Presidential Complex.
During the meeting, Ilıcalı shared details with President Erdoğan regarding the process Hull City went through to successfully complete the play-offs in the English Championship and earn promotion to the Premier League.
Club owner Acun Ilıcalı made a statement on his social media account following the reception at the Complex.
"HIS INTEREST HONORED ME GREATLY"
The 57-year-old businessman used the following expressions in his post:
"Our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, received me at the Presidential Complex despite his busy schedule.
I had the opportunity to explain to our President the details of our journey to the Premier League with Hull City.
His interest honored me greatly and made me very happy.
I hope that God grants us the opportunity to share new successes with him in the future."
