Acun Ilıcalı announced that his uncle, Gürbüz Ilıcalı, has passed away.
Media mogul Acun Ilıcalı's uncle, Gürbüz Ilıcalı, known as an agricultural engineer who served as a member of the Izmit District Directorate of Agriculture and as a founder of the Kocaeli Erzurum Residents Foundation, has passed away at the age of 86.
Acun Ilıcalı announced the sad news on his social media account.
Ilıcalı included the following statements in his post:
"A life spent thinking of nothing but kindness, rushing to the aid of those in need, and acting as an uncle, father, and grandfather to our family—a life I took as an example and one to be admired... We have lost our dear Uncle Gürbüz, our condolences..."
