Ahu Tuğba's autopsy report released
Yeşilçam star Ahu Tuğba passed away at her home in Miami, USA. It has been stated that there is no suspicion surrounding her death, now that the autopsy report is complete.
Actress Ahu Tuğba passed away recently at the age of 69 at her home in Miami, USA.
The actress's daughter, Anjelik, who works as a police officer in Miami, had decided for her mother to be buried in Turkey.
The transfer of the body to Istanbul had been delayed after her death was initially deemed suspicious.
According to a report by Mehmet Çalışkan from HaberTürk, Ahu Tuğba's autopsy report has been completed. The report states that the death was not suspicious.
TRANSFER OF THE BODY TO TURKEY DELAYED AGAIN
It was stated that the transfer of the body to Turkey will take time because the director of the medical examiner's office is currently on vacation. Once the director of the medical examiner's office in Miami returns from vacation and signs the report, the Turkish Consulate General in Miami will complete the necessary procedures to ensure the body is brought to the country.
WHO IS AHU TUĞBA?
Ahu Tuğba, born Tuğba Çetin, was born on August 13, 1955, in Istanbul.
Born into a wealthy family, Ahu Tuğba completed her education at the Istanbul American College for Girls (the girls' high school division of Robert College).
She later began studying English at Concordia University in Canada, but returned to Turkey before completing her education.
Stepping into her cinema career in 1974, Ahu Tuğba first took on a short role in a film.
Towards the end of the 1970s, she established a solid place for herself in Turkish cinema and achieved national fame in the early 1980s.
She became known as a sex symbol, often portraying kind-hearted but hedonistic characters, prostitutes, or addicts. Ahu Tuğba, who also released a music album in 1987, was married and divorced ten times and was a mother of one.
Ahu Tuğba starred alongside famous actors of the era such as Kemal Sunal, Cüneyt Arkın, Tarık Akan, Kadir İnanır, İlyas Salman, Hakan Ural, Yaşar Alptekin, Tarık Tarcan, Burçin Oraloğlu, and Nuri Alço, and was known as a sex symbol in the 80s alongside Banu Alkan, Serpil Çakmaklı, and Müjde Ar.
