Ahu Tuğba's body brought to Istanbul

Famous cinema actress Ahu Tuğba passed away on September 1 at the home of her daughter, Anjelik Calvin, with whom she lived in the United States. The body of Tuğba, who reportedly died due to COPD, was brought to Istanbul Airport on a Turkish Airlines flight departing from Miami, USA.

The plane carrying the body landed in Istanbul at 16:10.

Tuğba's daughter, Anjelik Calvin, had made statements on social media regarding her mother's autopsy procedures, explaining that they were dealing with official procedures and that the process of bringing the body to Turkey took a long time because she also needed to renew her own passport.

SHE WILL BE LAID TO REST TOMORROW

The daughter of the late famous actress, Anjelik Calvin, shared details regarding the funeral arrangements on her mother's social media account. In her post, Calvin stated, "A memorial service will be held this Saturday (tomorrow) at 11:00 AM at the Beyoğlu Atlas Cinema. The funeral will be laid to rest following the funeral prayer to be held at noon at Teşvikiye Mosque. Let us bid farewell to my mother together with prayers, may she go with prayers."
