Support message from Aleyna Tilki to abuse victims

Aleyna Tilki shared a video on her social media account, both recounting the difficulties she has faced and sending a message of support to women who have been subjected to abuse. Tilki described the struggles she went through during periods when she was prevented from performing on stage with the following words:

“I went through very difficult times and fought with everyone. My fans were always by my side, but for the most part, I fought on my own. I really wanted the things that scared me in my life to surface, and I succeeded. I am very happy now.”

Addressing the harassment cases emerging in the art world, Tilki stated that she would want to be warned if there were anyone in her circle involved in such incidents:

“Harassment and abuse are very sensitive topics for me. If there is someone in my circle who has caused such a thing and I have had a connection with them without realizing it, please inform me as well.”

Drawing attention to the emotional difficulties experienced by abuse victims, Tilki emphasized that she stands with these individuals:

“A person who encounters such a situation may feel tainted. To overcome this feeling, one must clear many psychological hurdles. I stand with those who make their voices heard and those who cannot yet express their feelings. None of it was your fault, and everything will pass. As long as you nurture yourself beautifully, you will be able to overcome everything.”

Concluding the video by stating that she embraces everyone, Tilki ended her words by saying, “It will pass.”
