Alleged to have liked hair-braiding posts: Sinem Kobal issues a denial
Actress Sinem Kobal has denied claims that she liked and then unliked a video by Belçim Bilgin, which had become a topic of discussion due to the 'hair-braiding' protest by DEM Party deputies.
Actress Belçim Bilgin, who joined the 'hair-braiding' trend that has recently gained significant attention on social media, drew attention alongside DEM Party deputies. Immediately after the trend became popular, a video filmed in Raqqa, in which a woman alleged to be a member of the SDF had her hair cut, sparked controversy on social media. In the video, a man holding a braid of hair responds to the question, "Why did you cut it?" by saying, "She's already gone, what is she going to do anyway?"
‘HAIR-BRAIDING’ PROTEST BY DEM PARTY

DEM Party Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Pervin Buldan, Erzurum Deputy Meral Danış Beştaş, and Spokesperson Ayşegül Doğan shared moments of themselves braiding their hair on their social media accounts. This action came to the agenda as a symbolic protest carried out in defense of women's rights.
