Another lawsuit against the Eşref Rüya series
The popular series Eşref Rüya is once again in the spotlight due to plagiarism allegations. Famous author Murat Menteş has filed a lawsuit, claiming that the series' script was plagiarized from his own work.
The Eşref Rüya series, which has recently been breaking viewership records and stars Çağatay Ulusoy and Demet Özdemir, frequently makes headlines due to allegations of a stolen script. Previously, DuruMavii, the author of the work titled "Ateşten Küle," had announced that she would exercise her legal rights, stating that the series' script bore similarities to her own story. Now, famous author Murat Menteş has applied to the court with a similar claim.
In his statement, Menteş alleged that the Eşref Rüya series was plagiarized from the film 'Dehşet Bey,' which was produced by 03 Medya and starred Barış Arduç and Hande Erçel. In line with these allegations, he stated that a copyright and plagiarism lawsuit has been filed against the series' producer, Tims&B, and screenwriter Ethem Özışık.
