"Don't go overboard just because it's a holiday. Eat less. Eat modestly. The price list determined by the Ayvalık Chamber of Commerce for restaurants," said Çağlayan, adding, "These prices are the 'upper limit.' Restaurants cannot exceed this."

In his latest post, Çağlayan said the following:
"Just to avoid any misunderstanding, I was not objecting to Ayvalık, but to the economic situation we are in. Wherever you go in the country, the prices are more or less the same. And there is not much business owners can do, due to costs. Let's not spread misinformation :)"
