Armağan Çağlayan's post after Fatih Ürek's funeral sparks controversy! Were those words aimed at Gülben Ergen and Yonca Evcimik?
Producer Armağan Çağlayan's post following Fatih Ürek's funeral has caused a stir. Çağlayan, who was alleged to have targeted figures such as Gülben Ergen and Yonca Evcimik, has made a new statement to clarify the claims.
The late famous artist Fatih Ürek was laid to rest. Following the funeral, an anonymous post by Armağan Çağlayan sparked controversy on social media.
In his statement, Çağlayan said, without naming anyone, "When entering a sacred place of a religion, we must fulfill the requirements of that religion. When entering a mosque courtyard, we must fulfill whatever the rules of the Islamic religion require."
Emphasizing that respect is a universal value, Çağlayan stated, "Just as one does not enter churches abroad with a hat on, one should not have their head uncovered in a mosque courtyard." Çağlayan stressed that while personal beliefs may differ, social sensitivities and the spiritual environment must be respected.

It was alleged that these words by Armağan Çağlayan were directed at figures such as Gülben Ergen and Yonca Evcimik, who attended Fatih Ürek's funeral with their 'heads uncovered'.

Following the post that caused the controversy, Çağlayan made a new statement, saying, "I did not target anyone while writing this tweet. It is not my place to target anyone anyway. Perhaps I have been presumptuous. But I grew up in times when, when a neighbor passed away, the television was not turned on in the house. I say again, I did not write what I wrote based on a belief, but based on respect for belief, for each other, and for believers. Good night."
