Artist Ajda Pekkan undergoes surgery: 'I had a lot of pain'
Master artist Ajda Pekkan has undergone surgery for a torn shoulder tendon. Speaking after the operation, Pekkan said, "I had a lot of pain; with this surgery, I have been relieved of my pain."
Artist Ajda Pekkan, who has been suffering from shoulder pain since last summer, has undergone surgery. The singer had an operation on her right shoulder joint.
Discharged and resting at home, the 77-year-old Pekkan will undergo physical therapy for three weeks.
'I HAD SURGERY WHEN THE PAIN INCREASED'
In a statement made after the surgery, Ajda Pekkan said, "I had a lot of pain; with this surgery, I have been relieved of my pain. After I broke my hip, a muscle tear occurred in my shoulder. Those pains started gradually last summer.
I had previously had tendon surgery on the same shoulder. When the pain increased, my doctor performed this operation before Ramadan," she stated.
