The famous artist, who was discharged after a physical therapy and rehabilitation process at Darülaceze, had previously announced that she was experiencing balance issues due to the narrowing of two veins in her brain.
Stating, "That is why I walk with a stagger," the famous singer shared both her health journey and her will during a television program where she discussed her current condition.
"PLAY THIS AT MY FUNERAL"
Describing Janis Joplin as the "woman of my life," Zerrin Özer said, "She has a song called 'Little Girl Blue'; that song tells my story exactly." The veteran artist stated that she has requested for this song to be played at her funeral.
Janis Joplin, considered one of the "greatest female blues singers of all time," passed away in 1970 at the age of 24.
