'Astoria Grande' cruise ship arrives in Amasra with 790 passengers
The cruise ship 'Astoria Grande', which departed from the Russian city of Sochi, has docked at the Port of Amasra.
The ship, which arrived in the district of Amasra—a tourism hub in Bartın famous for its nature and sea—with 790 passengers and a crew of 440, was welcomed by District Governor Kadir Perçi, Mayor Recai Çakır, and other officials.
Once their procedures were completed, tourists were given brochures in Russian at the port exit. The tourists then left the port to visit the historical and tourist sites in the district.
While some visitors chose to spend time at the Amasra Museum, Çekiciler Bazaar, the Grand Port, Amasra Castle, and the Kemere Bridge, others took tour buses to the district of Safranbolu in Karabük, which is famous for its historical houses and is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Some tourists also visited souvenir shops in the district to do some shopping.
It was learned that the ship will depart for Samsun in the evening hours.
