A 1 million TL question about Palestine on the game show 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?', broadcast on Atv, has become a topic of discussion.
In the new episode of the popular game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, hosted by actor Kenan İmirzalıoğlu, a 1 million TL question about Palestine drew attention.

In the episode, which highlighted the conflicts between Israel and Palestine, contestant Eyüp İşler, who reached the 12th question on the prize ladder, was asked: "Following Israel's ban on the Palestinian flag and its colors in the occupied Palestinian territories, which of the following became a symbol of protest, and those who carried it in the streets were arrested for a period?"

The options were A) Hulk poster, B) Watermelon slice, C) Red carnation, D) Cedar tree branch.
The watermelon is known as a symbol of the Palestinians. This symbol, which emerged after Israel took control of the West Bank and Gaza following the Six-Day War in 1967, spread further after the annexation of East Jerusalem. The Israeli government had criminalized the public display of the Palestinian flag in Gaza and the West Bank.
EARNED THE RIGHT TO SEE THE 5 MILLION TL QUESTION
The contestant answered with "watermelon slice." Having found the correct answer, Eyüp İşler earned the right to see the 13th question, worth 5 million TL, which is the grand prize of the competition.

PALESTINE COMMENT FROM KENAN İMİRZALIOĞLU
Host Kenan İmirzalıoğlu, who did not remain silent about the humanitarian tragedy in Gaza, where Israel has been raining bombs for a month, stated: "I hope peace comes and the death of civilians ends. The death of civilians breaks all of our hearts. The whole world is watching the events in Gaza with one eye closed and one ear plugged. They are not standing by the side of the righteous. I hope the countries that see themselves as great will end this in a conscientious way. We are praying for the people there. We cannot bear to watch the footage; our hearts are burning."
