Aydan Şener: 'Marriage is not suitable for human nature'

Aydan Şener, an actress known for series such as Çalıkuşu, Küçük Ağa, Üç Kız Kardeş, Yürek Çıkmazı, and Mühürlü Güller, was a guest on the program Empati, hosted by Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan.

Touching on the concept of loyalty, Şener said, "If we are human, we must be loyal, and I can say that I am a loyal person, but there is no loyalty in our industry. When I encounter disloyalty, I don't take revenge, but I neither forget what I experienced nor do I meet with that person again."

'I WISH I HAD BEEN AN ORDINARY PERSON'

Discussing the difficulties of fame, the veteran actress stated, "There were many times when I rebelled, faced injustices, felt overwhelmed, or was saddened by gossip, and said, 'I wish I hadn't done this job, I wish I hadn't been famous, I wish I had been an ordinary person.' I definitely don't think that way anymore; I am enjoying my fame and the love of the people."

Expressing regret for marrying former football player Ayhan Akbin at a young age, the veteran actress continued her words as follows:

"I married very early. Can you imagine, I was married at 19? Marriage is not an institution suitable for human nature."
