Ayşegül Aldinç closes the door on young rappers: 'For me to do a duet...'
Renowned artist Ayşegül Aldinç shared her notable views on the rap-pop collaborations that have become popular recently. Aldinç clearly stated that she is not keen on joint projects with rap music.
Ayşegül Aldinç, an experienced name in Turkish pop music, answered questions from her fans at an event she attended recently. In her speech, Aldinç addressed comments regarding the rise of pop artists in the industry through duets with rap singers, expressing that she approaches this trend with distance.

"I WOULD HAVE TO BE FORGOTTEN"
The artist made the following statement, which became a hot topic due to her confidence in her own musical background and career:
"For me to do a duet with rappers, I would have to be forgotten. I am an artist from the 1990s; saying 'I've been forgotten, let me do some rap so I can be remembered again' is not something for me. Because, thankfully, I am not in that situation."
