Bad news from Jon Bon Jovi: His music career is coming to an end

Bon Jovi's 62-year-old lead singer Jon Bon Jovi underwent surgery two years ago due to atrophy of his vocal cords.

Jovi has been attending daily vocal rehabilitation sessions for some time. However, despite all these recovery efforts, the famous musician is worrying his fans by explaining that things might not be going very well.

'THEN I'M DONE'

In a new interview with The Sunday Times, Bon Jovi said that if his vocal ability diminishes and affects his performance, his career will be over:

"If I'm not great, if I can't be the guy that I was once... then I'm done. And I'm good with that. There's a big difference between being in the studio and going out on the road. We've just recorded a new album.

I sing in vocal therapy every day. But I want to perform two and a half hours a night, four nights a week, and I know how good I can be. If I can't be that guy, I don't need to be the Fat Elvis."

The musician explained that one of his vocal cords was "as thick as a thumb" while the other was "as thick as a pinky finger," and that a procedure was performed to realign them.
