Bahar Öztan has passed away
Actress Bahar Öztan, who had been battling colon cancer for a long time, has passed away.
Bahar Öztan, who had previously beaten cancer three times, has died at the age of 61 due to colon cancer.

Öztan will be laid to rest at the Karacaahmet Cemetery following the funeral prayer to be held at the Şakirin Mosque tomorrow after the afternoon (ikindi) prayer.
WHO IS BAHAR ÖZTAN?
She was born on August 11, 1962, in İskenderun. She grew up in Istanbul. The artist, whom we first saw on screen in an Elidor commercial, appeared in countless commercials. After her commercial work, she became known to the public as the "Dimpled Beauty." She also received great acclaim in the popular photo-novels of the era. Some of these include Charlie's Angels and the photo-novels she appeared in alongside Barış Manço. It did not take long for Bahar Öztan, who won everyone's admiration, to attract the attention of producers.
Shortly after, she began her cinema career with the film Şaşkın Milyoner. Bahar Öztan became one of the most important actresses of Yeşilçam, nicknamed the "Dimpled Beauty." The artist, who began receiving constant stage offers, started working in public concerts with Bülent Ersoy at the İzmir Fair in 1987 and with Seda Sayan. From that day on, she continued her stage performances both domestically and abroad. In 1991, she began operating her boutique hotel, Spring Hotel, in Yalıkavak, Bodrum.
She married in 1993 and had a son two years later. In 1999, she opened a kindergarten named Prens Prenses in Bodrum. She went to America in 2001. The actress, who lived in America and Bodrum for a long time, settled back in Istanbul in 2007. She last appeared in the series Aşk Kapıyı Çalınca, produced by Koliba Film, and Görgüsüzler, produced by Erler Film, in 2007.
