The heavy rainfall that intensified in Istanbul negatively affected daily life across the city. While roads were covered with water in some areas, vehicles also faced difficult moments in locations where flooding occurred.
One of the people affected by the rainfall was Berfu Yenenler. Yenenler, who is married to Eser Yenenler, shared footage of the flooding around the residential complex where she lives in the Kemerburgaz area on her social media account.
In the footage shared by Yenenler, it was seen that the road in front of her house was largely submerged, and some parked vehicles were left in the water. Stating that she could not go out, Yenenler shared the situation in the region with her followers.
SHOOTS CANCELLED
The downpour also affected Berfu Yenenler’s work schedule. Yenenler announced that her shoots planned for the following day were cancelled. During this time, she also expressed her concern for Eser Yenenler, who was on the road.
In a later post, Yenenler stated that her husband was able to reach home, saying, “Eser managed to reach home somehow; thankfully the creek did not overflow, but the water flooded up to our doorstep like a lake.”
Due to the rainfall that was effective throughout the day in Istanbul, water puddles formed on some roads, and disruptions occurred in transportation. Fallen trees and flooding in different parts of the city also made daily life difficult.
