Birce Akalay's statement on positive test result: 'So-called report'
Following the release of test results for the actress Birce Akalay, it was revealed that her drug test had returned a positive result. Akalay announced via her social media account that she would challenge this finding.
Following a drug operation targeting famous figures, the results of the drug tests administered that day have been released. After Birce Akalay's test result came back positive, all eyes turned to the successful actress.
Birce Akalay shared the following regarding the positive result via her social media account:
'To the attention of the valued public;
Reminding that there is a confidentiality order regarding the investigation that is the subject of the news, I would like to state that neither I nor my lawyer have been able to access the file, and no documents or information have been conveyed to us.
I would like to emphasize that some reports published on various news channels are intended for disinformation, that the substances appearing on the published list are only related to the antidepressants and painkillers I use regularly, and most importantly, that I have never used the prohibited substance listed in my life.
I submit for your information that we will challenge this so-called Forensic Medicine report (if it is indeed accurate) through my lawyer as soon as possible regarding these matters, about which I am certain.
With love'
