WHEN WILL THE FIRST BIRTH GRANT PAYMENTS BE DEPOSITED INTO ACCOUNTS?

Birth grant payments will be made in bulk in May. President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that a total of approximately 1.2 billion lira in support will be provided to 163 thousand 295 households.

Accordingly, the first installments of the birth grant will be transferred to accounts on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.

NEW MONTHLY AMOUNTS FOR 1ST, 2ND, AND 3RD CHILD SUPPORT

First child: 5,000 TL (One-time)

2nd child: 1,500 TL (60 months)

3rd and subsequent children: 5,000 TL (60 months)

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE BIRTH GRANT?

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that applications for birth grants offered within the scope of the Year of the Family began to be accepted via e-Devlet starting Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

Minister Göktaş reminded that the regulation covering birth grants to be provided to families starting from the first child was accepted in the TBMM on March 27: 'We are starting to accept our birth grant applications, which our President announced as good news during our Year of the Family Promotion Program, via the e-Devlet portal as of today. Applications will primarily be received through the e-Devlet portal, but our citizens who cannot apply via e-Devlet will be able to receive support regarding the application process from our Provincial Directorates of Family and Social Services,' she said.

WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS FOR BIRTH GRANT APPLICATIONS?

'Our families who have had children as of January 1, 2025, will benefit from these grants. Accordingly, our one-time birth grant of 5 thousand lira for the first child born as of January 1, 2025, 1,500 lira per month for the second child, and 5 thousand lira per month for the third and subsequent children will be deposited into our mothers' accounts.'
