Breaking News: Famous singer Yusuf Güney taken into custody
Singer Yusuf Güney, who was subject to a detention warrant as part of a drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, has been taken into custody. Some other famous names previously detained as part of the same investigation were released following their processing.
As part of a drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, singer Yusuf Güney, for whom a detention warrant was issued on December 18, was apprehended and taken into custody today.
It was learned that Güney underwent a medical examination as part of the investigation.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Previously, within the scope of the same file, Aleyna Tilki, İrem Sak, Danla Biliç, and Mümmine Senna Yıldız had been taken into custody in the morning hours during an operation conducted by Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams at their addresses.
The four individuals, whose processing at the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command was completed, were referred to the Council of Forensic Medicine (ADT) for medical examinations. The suspects, from whom blood and hair samples were taken, were released following their processing.
It was stated that actress Melisa Döngel and singer Yusuf Güney, for whom detention warrants were issued as part of the investigation, could not be found at their addresses during the initial operation.
On the other hand, it was reported that arrest warrants were also issued for Şeyma Subaşı, Şevval Şahin, and Mert Vidinli, who were determined to be abroad.
