Bülent Ersoy responds to reports that she 'fell ill before the show'

News reports emerged recently that Turkish classical music artist Bülent Ersoy had fallen ill before a concert.

A statement from Bülent Ersoy, who was alleged to have taken the stage under medical supervision, was not long in coming.

In a statement posted on her social media account, the Diva said:

''The reports published under the headline 'Bülent Ersoy fell ill before the show. Call my doctor to come here' are baseless, imaginary, and untrue.

Furthermore, given that all my esteemed friends from the press were present at the backstage door, it is impossible for such an action not to have been captured on camera.

In other words, there is not a single frame of evidence to confirm the reports in this direction—neither that I called a doctor, nor that I fainted, nor that I took the stage under medical supervision, because there is no footage of baseless news,'' she stated.
