Burcu Özberk had made a major breakthrough with the series Güneş'in Kızları, but her latest series, Ruhun Duymaz, ended in a finale after failing to achieve the expected ratings. After the series ended, Özberk went on vacation and has remained away from the screens for a long time.

Even though she has been away from the screens, Özberk still manages to draw attention with her social media posts and statements.

"I am looking for work, but there is nothing that excites me. I haven't been able to decide. It's not about rules, but I am looking for a project that I feel comfortable with, something I will enjoy while acting," said Özberk, who has finally found what she was looking for.

According to the report by Birsen Altuntaş, the series Karanlık Oda, prepared by Ceylan Yapım, will be on the screens. The series, which features a script written by Ali Doğançay, will meet the audience as an 8-episode production directed by Aytaç Çiçek.

Burcu Özberk will portray the police officer character Sare in the series, which is expected to begin filming at the end of April, while Uraz Kaygılaroğlu will play the photographer Atlas.

In the "Karanlık Oda" series, events will begin with Atlas finding a mysterious roll of photo negatives at his bedside.
