Businesswoman Yasemin Sadıkoğlu attacked in Etiler: 'We go to these places to have fun!'

Businesswoman Yasemin Sadıkoğlu has made headlines following an attack she endured.

Speaking to Hürriyet columnist Mehmet Üstündağ, Sadıkoğlu recounted the following:

"I had gone to a fish restaurant in Bebek early in the day. After dinner, my cousin and our friends arrived; we celebrated an early birthday and stopped by the venue for a short while, where we were having drinks at the bar.

When my friend went outside to talk on the phone, she asked me to hold her spot.

While I was trying to hold her place, a woman started pushing me from below.

As I turned around to ask what was happening and tried to warn her, she suddenly grabbed my hair! I bent down while trying to save my hair, but she wouldn't let go of my head for a long time. It was rumored that the woman was likely under the influence of alcohol. When everyone handed me clumps of my hair, saying 'How could she do this to you?', I saw a significant portion of my hair on the floor. I was very angry; even though I was the victim, when I wanted to seek my rights, the venue staff intervened and blocked me.

When I said I would call the police and file a complaint against the woman who pulled my hair over a spot at the bar, the venue manager walked away from us, saying, 'You cannot threaten me, there is no situation for the police, that woman is here every day.' I am still in shock from the incident!

I immediately went to the police station to file a complaint and requested that the security camera footage be obtained. I want the woman who attacked me to be found!

We spend a fortune to go to these places to have fun, not to put our health and lives in danger.

I was assaulted, I have my medical reports, and I am receiving treatment. I will be seeking compensation for all my damages, both material and moral.

This is the first time in my life I have experienced something like this."
