In a statement made via social media, Sezen Aksu drew attention to the situation of manager Ayşe Barım and Beylikdüzü Mayor Murat Çalık, as well as other sick prisoners. Stating that the health of these individuals is in danger, Aksu expressed that they must be released immediately.

Aksu's message emphasized that the state must fulfill its responsibilities toward its citizens. Stating that the health conditions of Ayşe Barım and Murat Çalık are not suitable for remaining in prison, Aksu said that these individuals must be provided with the opportunity for treatment.
