Çanakkale 1915 War Materials Traveling Museum opens to visitors

Kırklareli Municipality, as part of its cultural and artistic events, has opened an exhibition at the Atatürk Sports Hall by the Çanakkale Museum, featuring items belonging to soldiers and the ammunition used during the war.

Çanakkale Museum General Coordinator Cengiz Yürükaslan told an AA reporter that the 'Çanakkale 1915 War Materials Traveling Museum' is one of the largest traveling museums.

Stating that they have been traveling across Turkey for 13 years as a mobile museum, Yürükaslan explained that the museum receives interest in every city it visits.

'FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT VISIT...'

Expressing that many items in the traveling museum are very rare and can only be found in this mobile collection, Yürükaslan said, "It is a very specially prepared museum. We operate with the slogan 'Not just one day, but every day Çanakkale.' We are implementing a major social project that instills the spirit of Çanakkale in our citizens who cannot go to Çanakkale or have the opportunity to visit those places."

Yürükaslan noted that the museum, which is very unique, also includes many items from collectors and museums abroad.

The traveling museum will be open to visitors until Saturday, June 1.
