Prof. Dr. Canan Karatay made important warnings about cashews, which are consumed as a snack in our country, during a program she attended.
Prof. Dr. Canan Karatay, who has become popular with her warnings to citizens and unconventional statements, made notable remarks on Sözcü TV.
Discussing nuts, Karatay issued important warnings regarding cashews.
"THEY SPRAY BROMIDE GAS SO IT DOESN'T SPOIL"
Stating that bromide gas is sprayed on nuts coming from abroad to prevent them from spoiling or molding, Karatay warned that products should be consumed locally and in season.
"WHY WOULD I EAT CASHEWS WHEN THERE ARE HAZELNUTS AND PISTACHIOS?"
Stating that Brazil nuts are very dangerous, Karatay also opened a parenthesis for "cashews." Pointing out that "cashews," which citizens consume with pleasure, come from abroad and are treated with chemicals, Karatay said, "I have not eaten a single one in my life. Why would I eat cashews when there are hazelnuts, pistachios, and walnuts?"
