Cem Yılmaz and Ahu Yağtu's alimony case concluded

Cem Yılmaz and Ahu Yağtu, who divorced by mutual agreement in 2013, had been in a long-standing dispute over the alimony amount set for their son, Kemal. Citing fluctuations in exchange rates, Yılmaz had requested that the 10 thousand dollar alimony he pays be converted into Turkish Lira. The Istanbul 11th Family Court had partially accepted this request and ruled that the alimony be paid as 70 thousand TL.

However, the Istanbul Regional Court overturned the local court's decision, ruling that Yılmaz must continue to pay the alimony as 10 thousand dollars. This decision indicates that the legal process has concluded against Yılmaz.

STATEMENT FROM AHU YAĞTU

Responding to journalists' questions at an event, Ahu Yağtu stated that she did not want to talk about her relationship with Cem Yılmaz. When asked about the alimony issue, she said, "That matter is closed. Everything has been clarified."

During one of his shows at Zorlu PSM, Cem Yılmaz humorously shared his experiences regarding the alimony process with the audience: "Recently, my son Kemal read a news report on the internet claiming that my net worth is 20 million dollars. He asked me, 'Dad, is it true?' I said, 'Your mother doesn't know, right? Don't you dare show her.' You know, there is an alimony I have to pay for life."
