Cemal Hünal: 'I cannot speak at a time when children are dying'

Actor Cemal Hünal was spotted by cameras in Bebek the other day. The actor, who was taking a walk alone on the beach, drew attention with his unique style of dress.

Leaving the questions directed at him by journalists unanswered, Hünal recalled the attacks in Gaza and said, "I do not want to speak at a time when children are dying. Whatever I say would be meaningless," before heading home.

Actor Cemal Hünal had been a guest on a program in recent months and made candid statements.

Cemal Hünal, who studied design in London after high school and received theater and cinema training in Los Angeles, had said, "When they asked me at age three, 'What will you do for a living?', I would answer, 'I will tell stories.' I started theater at 13 and working on sets at 17. My goal was not acting; I wanted to be a director and a writer. My brother and I founded a joint animation company. On one hand, I was working on sets and doing stunt work."
