Ceyda Ersoy makes first statement after mid-flight crisis
Ceyda Ersoy, one of the 'Ciciş sisters,' attacked a cabin crew member on a Turkish Airlines (THY) flight from Istanbul to Antalya. Ersoy was removed from the plane at Antalya Airport and taken into custody.
Following the incident, Ersoy, who continued to share vacation photos on her social media account, made a post regarding the crisis that occurred on the THY flight.
Ersoy stated that the incident on the plane was not as reported in the news and that she was the victim.
Ceyda Ersoy made the following statement regarding the incident she experienced on the THY flight:
"Due to the unfortunate incident on Turkish Airlines, they have banned me from flying until August 31, 2024. Furthermore, they are not refunding my business class flight ticket that I purchased for my return from vacation.
If you are going to block my flight, then please refund the money for the business class flight I purchased.
Or, if you are not going to refund the money, then you need to lift my flight ban.
The incident was misrepresented to the press; I am the one who is actually the victim. I request that you do what is necessary as soon as possible."
